PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting wind direction is provided to control the wind direction by accurately grasping the inner wind direction of a clean room. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting wind direction comprises a plurality of touch panels(150) and a MICOM(130). A plurality of touch panels are installed in the around a moving object(110) which is carried according to the direction of the wind. Current flows in the touch panel when the moving object touches with the touch panel. The MICOM gets information of the wind direction based on the current which is inputted from the touch panel. The MICOM lights a bulb corresponding to the touch panel in which current flows. The moving object is a conductive fiber. One end of the conductive fiber is fixed and voltage is applied through the fixed one end.
