<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open stair apparatus capable of combining open stairs with an elevator and provided with a storage having a large height capable of storing a long object and a large-sized object. <P>SOLUTION: The open stair apparatus 10 includes a square-shaped landing 16, the open stairs 12 with the landing having a lower side stair member 18 having a lower end fixed to a floor surface 1FL on the first story of a dwelling house and an upper end fixed to a front end part of the landing and an upper side stair member 20 having a lower end fixed to one side part of the landing and an upper end fixed to a predetermined section 19 on the second story of the house, the elevator 14 provided with an elevator car 42, and the storage 15 having a lower end connected with the floor surface on the first story of the house and an upper end connected with a lower face of a floor part on the second story of the house. The storage is arranged behind the landing, and a door of the storage can be opend and closed from the landing.
