<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for enabling a user to select answering according to a situation wherein interrupt call request notification is performed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A telephone body 20 can make a speech communication device 50 perform interrupt call request notification. The speech communication device 50 transmits a ringing rejection indication to the telephone body 20 when the user performs a ringing rejecting operation while the interrupt call request notification is performed. When the ringing rejection indication is received, the telephone body 20 transmits a call request notification stop indication to the speech communication device 50. When receiving the call request notification stop indication, the speech communication device 50 performs call request notification stopping processing to stop the interrupt call request notification.
