PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composite containing a fine cellulose fiber in which not only elastic modulus but original strength of a resin molded article is improved. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composite includes 0.01-25 pts.mass of a modified fine cellulose fiber and 100 pts.mass of an epoxy resin. The modified fine cellulose fiber is obtained by treating a fiber of a reaction product, which is obtained by reacting an N-oxyl compound and a co-oxidizing agent with natural cellulose, with an organic onium compound having a cation structure represented by formula (1).
