PURPOSE: A muffler for a vehicle is provided to effectively absorb high frequency airstream sound of exhaust gas through glass wool which is filled in a chamber. CONSTITUTION: A muffler for a vehicle comprises a muffler housing(1), a first baffle(2a), a second baffle(2b), and a second chamber(3b). The first and the second baffle are arranged inside the muffler housing in the longitudinal direction and separate from each other to form the second chamber therebetween. Glass wool is filled in the second chamber and a part of exhaust gas path is connected to the second chamber so that exhaust gas flows into the muffler housing.
