PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input device performing high-convenience processing according to input of information related to an external proximity object.

SOLUTION: The information input device acquires position information and area information of the external proximity object in a detection signal processing part 13 and an image processing part 14 based on a detection signal of the external proximity object obtained by an input/output panel 11. In a control part 21, by use of the acquired position information and area information, display data are generated such that size of a display object designated by the external proximity object changes according to an area value of the external proximity object.
