PURPOSE: A buttonhole sewing machine is provided to prevent failures for cutting textiles by informing a replacing period of a blade on a proper time before abrasion or defects of the blade is produced, and to reduce costs for maintaining the machine. CONSTITUTION: A buttonhole sewing machine includes a bed part, an arm part, a transfer stand, a presser foot, a textile cutting device, and a control device(20). The textile cutting device is installed on the bed part, and has a blade and a hammer. The hammer is attached on the bottom of a support. An operating unit connected to the support has a link unit. The control device includes CPU(21), ROM(22), RAM(23), and EEPROM(24).
