WASTE MANAGEMENT METHOD USING RFID

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire management information of a low radioactive solid waste as necessary at a necessary place, and to prevent input error or transfer error by extremely reducing manual operation, and to reduce exposure to radiation during work by securing a distance with the radioactive waste in management.

SOLUTION: The waste management method for storing and maintaining/managing a low radioactive solid waste in a storage container includes: using an RFID 12 mounted on each storage container to be managed and a portable information terminal 14 for transmitting/receiving data by a non-contact manner to/from the RFID; registering individual information of the waste stored in the storage container 10 in the RFID using the portable information terminal; managing data in a distributed manner so that the storage container always moves along with management information stored in the RFID; reading the data of the RFID using the portable information terminal for information necessary for management, thereby enabling access to the DB for verification.
