PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newspaper storage rack for a newspaper vending machine that can deliver a newspaper even when an outer door is closed with an arm left in a lifted position. SOLUTION: The newspaper storage rack for a newspaper vending machine has a rack 60 mounted in a body cabinet to store newspapers, a drive unit 51 mounted in the body cabinet so as to move forward from the back of the body cabinet, the arm 52 pivoted on the drive unit 51 so as to be moved forward from the back of the rack 60 with the forward movement of the drive unit 51, and a hand 53 pivoted on the arm 52 and fitted with needles, and accepts the storage of newspapers when the arm 52 is lifted to lift the hand 53.
