<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect guided wires with a wire cover, shorten a length of guiding part of the wires, save space of and make compact a wire-guided side, and yet, prevent deformation, coming-off or the like of the wire cover. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A lever 6 for fitting in a counterpart connector is provided in free rotation outside a connector housing 4, the wire cover 8 is mounted on a rear part of the connector housing inside the lever, and the wire cover is made provided with a notched opening 7 for wire guide-out consisting of a side-part opening 7a and a rear-part opening 7b, so that, at complete fitting into the counterpart connector, the lever surrounds an outer periphery of the wire cover to protect it, in the lever fit-in connector 1. A notched recess part 27 is provided at the lever 6 continuing from the rear-part opening 7b. The lever 6 is rotatable up to a position surrounding the notched opening 7. The connector housing 4 includes an inner housing 2 and an outer housing 3, the outer housing equipped with the lever 6, and the wire cover 8 mounted between the inner housing and the outer housing.
