<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition for barrier ribs for obtaining an active-drive organic EL element, having no disconnection in an electrode and being capable of responding to an image of high resolution in an active-driving organic EL display device having an organic layer in a region segmented by barrier ribs, and to provide an active-drive organic EL display device having barrier ribs, formed by using the photosensitive composition for barrier ribs. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition for barrier ribs contains an ethylenically unsaturated compound, a photopolymerization initiator, an alkali-soluble binder and a liquid repellent, and is to be used for forming liquid-repellent barrier ribs, having a forward tapered cross-section for segmenting an organic layer of an active-driving organic electroluminescence element. The composition is such that the liquid repellent comprises a fluorine compound, having a crosslinking group and a carboxyl group, and that a coating film of larger composition, having a film thickness of 2 μm exhibits an absorbance of not more than 0.5, with respect to light for pattern exposure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
