PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air supply device for an engine with an EGR device, always smoothly allowing EGR gas to flow into an air supply passage by maintaining a relation, engine exhaust gas pressure>engine air supply pressure, without deteriorating engine performance without using a means to deteriorate the engine performance such as adjustment of the opening of a throttle valve in a diesel engine with the EGR device. SOLUTION: The merging part of an EGR passage 110 with the air supply passage 200 is formed with a slit 3 in a manner that a part of the cylindrical air supply passage 200 is cut and both the ends of the air supply passage 200 are opposed to each other. The insides 200a of the air supply passage are connected to each other through the slit 3. An outer tube 2 is formed to cover the slit 3 in order to block the slit from the outside. The EGR passage 110 communicates with the inside of the outer tube 2. EGR gas flowing in the EGR passage is led to flow into the air supply passage 200 through the slit 3 and mixed with air supply.
