The generator (1) has turbulence pipes (2) arranged in gaps (S) and lines (Z) for guiding and distribution of fibrous material suspension along a flow direction. The turbulence pipes have quadratic pipe outer cross section (2.AQ). The turbulence pipes are directly or indirectly connected with each other at free edge regions (25.1-25.4) by a welding seam (27.1) to provide linear force flow at outer walls (2.W1, 2.W2) of the turbulence pipes. The turbulence pipes are connected with a connecting part (28) at the free edge regions. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a turbulence generator.
