<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine aptitude between a direction of a front side and a rear side of a recording form and a direction of recording image information without wasting the recording form before image recording processing is performed on the recording form in a state where the recording form, in which form direction elements including a top and bottom direction of front and rear sides and a correlation of the top and bottom direction of the front and rear sides is determined in advance, is housed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The front and rear sides of the recording form 50 (a recording form printing image) are imaged by an imaging part (front) 66 and an imaging part (rear) 68 and are compounded with image data for printing along the same top and bottom direction as that of printing processing. A compounded image is displayed at a display part 102 to wait for user's judgment of propriety. Then based on the judgment, continuation or stop of printing is decided.
