PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen data transmitting method capable of improving the image quality of a part transmitted with low image quality in a screen frame.

SOLUTION: The screen transmitting method includes: a difference detection step of detecting whether each of a plurality of blocks included in a first screen frame has a difference that exceeds a prescribed amount from a block included in a second screen frame before the first screen frame and located at a corresponding position; a first transmission step of compressively encoding data of a block in which a detection result of the difference detection step is affirmative and transmitting the data; a determination step of determining whether the total amount per the first screen frame of a code transmitted in the first transmission step is smaller than a prescribed threshold; and a second transmission step of compressively encoding data of a portion or all of the blocks among the blocks other than blocks whose data are compressively encoded in the first transmission step and transmitting the data when a determination result of the determination step is affirmative.
