PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-crystal mixture having a specific resistance specified in advance, and to select or provide a material which adjusts a specific resistance of a liquid-crystal to be reproducible. SOLUTION: The liquid-crystal mixture includes an acidic compound, as an example, expressed by the formula in concentration of 10 ppm to 10%. The acidic compound has a function to adjust the specific resistance within a range specified in advance of (10)<SP>9</SP>-(several 10)<SP>12</SP>Ωcm as a typical value.
