<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device in which a uniform surface illumination light that covers a wide area can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device includes a point light source 5 having a high directivity, a light source mounting part 5a having a prescribed area installed with this point light source, and a lateral side reflecting part that is installed and erected by a prescribed height from the surrounding of the light source mounting part. The lateral side reflecting part is formed with a light-transmitting reflecting panel 7 having a reflection-transmission pattern and in which a plurality of reflection-transmission parts that reflect and transmit light are installed at least at its part. In this reflection-transmission pattern, a plurality of virtual radioactive rays are drawn at a prescribed angle from the point light source to the light conductive reflecting panel face. In the reflectivity and transmittance of the reflection-transmission part Di, j, which are of the same distance from the point light source on the radioactive rays, if the reflectance on the radioactive rays from the point light source having a smaller directivity angle is Re1, the transmittance is Tr1, the reflectance on the radioactive rays from the point light source having a larger directivity angle is Re2, and the transmittance is Tr2, then the relationships between these are set to have the following relations, namely Re1>Re2, and Tr1<Tr2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
