<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of noise in a ratchet type one-way clutch. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this one-way clutch 10, plate parts 14c, 15c having engaging faces 14e, 15e axially opposing an outer member and an inner member are provided, an engaging piece 17 is provided to one of the plate parts 14c, 15c, a tip end 17a side of the engaging piece 17 is biased from one plate part 15c toward the other plate part 14c, and an engaging recessed part 18 capable of engaging with the tip end 17a side of the engaging piece 17 when the tip end 17a side of the engaging piece 17 is projected to the other plate part 14c side from the one plate part 15c by the biasing is provided on the engaging face 14e of the other plate part 14c. An auxiliary elastic member 30 for biasing the engaging piece 17 toward the one plate part 15c is provided between the engaging recessed part 18 and the engaging piece 17.
