<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition for a fiber-reinforced composite material permitting demolding after primary curing, and a fiber-reinforced composite material obtained by using the epoxy resin composition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition for a fiber-reinforced composite material comprises as essential ingredients a liquid epoxy resin represented by general formula (1) (wherein -X- is -SO<SB>2</SB>- or -C(CH<SB>3</SB>)<SB>2</SB>-; the ratio of -X- where it is -SO<SB>2</SB>- is 10-50 mol% with the total -X- being 100 mol%; and n is an integer of 0-5), a liquid aromatic amine curing agent and a curing accelerator, permits demolding after primary curing at 60-100°C for less than 8 h, and does not suffer from deformation under second curing at 100-200°C.
