DIRECTIONAL SOUND GENERATING APPARATUS AND DIRECTIONAL SPEAKER ARRAY

PURPOSE: A directional sound generating apparatus and a directional speaker array thereof are provided to obtain high radiation efficiency by increasing the distance between the front side and rear side of a sound transducer. CONSTITUTION: A directional sound generating apparatus comprises a sound transducer(110), a reflector(130), and a first blocking plate(120). The reflector is located behind the sound transducer. The first blocking plate separates the front side and the back side of the sound transducer. Second blocking plates(410a,410b) are connected to the reflector. The second blocking plates are formed in order to cover the upper side and the lower side of the sound transducer. A sound-absorbing material is attached to the reflector or the first blocking plate. The sound-absorbing material is composed of a material which absorbs the high frequency of a sound wave outputted from the sound transducer.
