<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved isolation apparatus used in a microwave energy delivery system in order to reduce undesirable radiated emissions during the delivery of microwave energy. <P>SOLUTION: The isolation apparatus 200 has an isolation circuit board 245 including an isolation circuit configured to capacitively couple a microwave generator 100 and a coaxial transmission cable (the isolation circuit board is configured further to pass energy between the microwave generator and the coaxial transmission cable), and a shield coupling.
