PURPOSE: A cover separating apparatus is provided to freely select a through-hole location of a first cover plate, and to automatically and consecutively separating cover plates consisting of the cover with a hooking bar and a separation bar. CONSTITUTION: A cover separating apparatus comprises the following: a rotating drum(20) pivotally installed on a width direction of a support frame(10); a hooking bar(30) installed on the support frame with a rotating central shaft of the rotating drum; a plurality of guide blocks(40) guiding the cover and installed on a longitudinal direction of the support frame; and a plurality of separation bars(50) passing through the guide blocks and fixed on the outer circumference of the drum. The guided block includes a guide bar(41), a guide bracket(42), a guide plate(43), and a transfer sprocket(44).
