PURPOSE: A transmitting power control method of a portable terminal and an apparatus thereof control the transmission power level of a radio signal. In that way the quality of the broadcast signal is kept among the broadcasting signal reception in the generation of the wireless signal transmission. CONSTITUTION: If a transmission of a radio signal generates among the reception of the broadcast signal, a controller confirms the SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) of a broadcast signal(S301, S305). In case the SNR value of the broadcast signal is less than the first standard value, the controller reduces the transmission power level of the radio signal as the set size(S307, S309). The controller confirms the BER(Bit Error Rate) of the radio signal(S311). In case BER of the radio signal is the secondary reference value or less, the controller indicates the pop-up window in the display unit(S313, S315). |
