PURPOSE: A 3D image display module for a PMP is provided to transform 2D images into 3D images in real time, thereby offering realistic and lively images to viewers. CONSTITUTION: A 3D image display module for a PMP includes an image interface unit(10), a stereoscopic image transform unit(50), a memory interface unit(30), an output interface unit(40), and a parameter interface unit(20). The image interface unit receives image data. The stereoscopic image transform unit changes 2D image data inputted from the image interface unit to 3D image data. The memory interface unit is connected to a memory(60) in which 3D image data changed in the stereoscopic image transform unit is stored. The output interface unit controls the resolution of 3D image data in order to output the 3D image data to a display unit and controls a stereoscopic filter to display the 3D image data. The parameter interface unit is connected to the stereoscopic image transform unit and receives a parameter about the transforming method and resolution of the image data from the outside.
