PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator capable of further improving cooling performance by improving the draining performance of condensate water, and preventing the scattering of the condensate water from the evaporator. SOLUTION: Corrugated fins 5 are provided with a plurality of louvers 6 cut and raised at prescribed intervals, and a downstream-side inclination angle θ5 to a horizontal face of a downstream-side louver 8 disposed at the downstream side with respect to an intermediate section 5a in the ventilation direction X of the louvers 6 is determined to allow the condensate water to fall down in a state that he evaporator 1 is installed, so that the condensate water generated when air is cooled at the downstream side falls down along the downstream-side louver 8, and the accumulation of the condensate water on a surface of the corrugated fins 5 can be prevented.
