The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing textile products such as clothing or bags. More specifically, it relates to a method of manufacturing textile products stitched in such a way that when washed, they either completely or partially form tassels of various shapes along the edge of said textile products, and textiles using the same. The method of manufacturing textile products such as clothing or bags of the present invention comprises a cutting process wherein woven material is cut to the desired shape; a stitching process whereby a first material cut into a desired shape is laid on top of a second material such that the inside of a first tuck of the first material is aligned with the edge of the second material, whereupon a first stitched line is formed at a predetermined distance inward from the edge of the first tuck and a second tuck so as to hold down the first tuck (stitching process); and a tassel forming process wherein the textile products, such as clothes or bags, made by means of said stitching process, are washed to form tassels of a predetermined length along the stitched line. |
