PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fence capable of preventing invasion of small animals as much as possible without causing electric leakage even when bottom weeds entwine. SOLUTION: In order to solve the problems, the electric fence includes the followings. Claim 1: one or a plurality of wiry materials connected to a negative pole of a power source apparatus are installed from the side close to the grounding surface; and one or a plurality of wiry materials connected to the side of a positive pole of the power source apparatus are installed in the upper part of the wiry materials connected to the negative pole in the electric fence provided with the wiry materials having the surface with electroconductivity; supports installing the wiry materials insulatedly from the grounding surface; and the power source apparatus for applying a voltage for electric shocks to the wiry materials. Claim 2: one or a plurality of wiry materials in claim 1, wherein the height of the wiry materials at the lowest end from the grounding surface is set at≤10 cm in the electric fence.
