<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a further miniaturizable FPC (flexible printed circuit) connector with an elastic contact spring part having a sufficient amount of displacement and stable contact pressure. <P>SOLUTION: A contact 13 has an on-plane supporting part 20 to be pressed into a contact holding groove 18 in a housing 10, a substrate connection terminal part 21 integrally arranged extending from the end on the housing back side thereof, the elastic contact spring part 22 integrally formed by turning back the housing inside end of the supporting part 20 into a U-shape, and a cam driven piece part 23 integrally formed on the housing back side end thereof. A contact 24 for an FPC 12 is integrally protruded on the upper side face of the elastic contact spring part 22 of the contact 13. A cam member 25 is inserted through the lower side of the cam driven piece part 23. The elastic contact spring part 22 is normally set in the condition of being evacuated out of an FPC insertion recessed portion 11, and it is displaced to the inside of the FPC insertion recessed portion 11 with the cam member 25 turned to push the cam driven piece part 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
