<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smart antenna receiving apparatus in which power consumption is reduced, which can be produced at a low cost, improves affinity to a mobile device, can be directly connected to a home receiver, and can receive a terrestrial digital broadcast with excellent sensitivity, without the need of troublesome antenna direction adjustments. <P>SOLUTION: The smart antenna receiving apparatus 10 includes: a plurality of antennas 11-1 to 11-n; a plurality of analog phase shifters 13-2 to 13-n for changing phases of reception signals from antennas except for one reference antenna 11-1 among the plurality of antennas, respectively; a power combining unit 14 for combining the reception signal of the reference antenna and output signals from the plurality of analog phase shifters; and a DSP 16 which refers to a combined output signal from the power combining unit and uses a specific evaluation function to output a control voltage for controlling the phases of the plurality of analog phase shifters so that the evaluation function is maximized on the basis of an optimization algorithm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
