<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of renovating decrepit fireproof water tank. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method of renovating decrepit fireproof water tank comprises lining the wall surface of the existing fireproof water tank with an elastic cut-off material, providing an inspection passage part for persons along the wall surface, providing an internal storage space with unit members arranged at the center of the waterproof water tank, covering the periphery of the internal storage space with an impervious sheet, and fixing the internal storage space with beams and columns provided at the passage part. The internal storage space is partitioned from the existing waterproof water tank, and water in the internal storage space is secured, even if water in the fireproof water tank leaks, due to a crack or the like formed in the wall surface of the fireproof water tank.
