A light source (71) is turned on when a main power supply (21) is turned on, and when a motion sensor (14) detects movement of a heat source within a time stored in a set time storage section (22a1), on-state where the light source (71) is turned on is continued, and when the motion sensor (14) does not detect movement of the heat source within the time stored in the set time storage section (22a1), the light source is turned off.  Therefore, when an observer is not observing a sample, the light source (71) can be surely turned off.
