<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trigger type sprayer in which a cover plate is coupled to the upper side wall of a cover part base plate through a hinge so as to open a cover part of a trigger member. <P>SOLUTION: The trigger type sprayer is provided with a holding body, a reverse L-shaped pump and the trigger member. The holding body is provided with an attaching part screwing a container body and a support part provided with a fitting cylinder of the pump and a pivot axis at an upper side and composed of a parallel plate body. The pump is provided with a reverse L-shaped piston part and a spray nozzle. A turning preventive chip inserted between a push down axis and a plate body of the holding body is provided on a folding part of the piston part. A trigger member is composed of a finger hooking part and a cover part openable through the hinge.
