PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a printing speed from decreasing in the printing of superposing a plurality of inks or the like in a predetermined sequence to various kinds of printing media. SOLUTION: A printing head 250 of a printer 200 includes nozzle arrays 251-258 in which a plurality of nozzles are formed side by side in a sub-scanning direction. The nozzle arrays 251 and 258 to eject metallic inks S are arranged at both ends of a main scanning direction of the printing head 250. The nozzle arrays 252-257 to eject color inks are arranged between the nozzle arrays 251 and 258. For example, in the case of printing of a metallic color to an opaque printing medium P1, the printer 200 ejects the metallic ink S by using only the nozzle array of the leading side of the scanning direction of the printing head 250 of the nozzle arrays 251 and 258.
