The stator components (36) of the magnetic end bearing are held in a housing (40) that can be moved and adjusted axially within the bearing body (34). Adjustment can be by a double set screw (48) or alternatively by an eccentric cam bolt. The housing (40) is prevented from rotating by a bolt (44) in a groove (45) and is fixed in position by a radial clamping bolt (47).
