<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision in detecting rotation with a detection body by uniformizing a relative amount of deviation among detection bodies, relative to a rotation information output means. <P>SOLUTION: A worm gear mechanism is housed in a gear case 36 secured to a yoke 24, and a control board 51 is secured to the inside surface of a cover attached to the gear case 36. A positioning part 61 is so provided on the gear case 36 or/and the cover as to be positioned on an axial line L1 of an armature shaft 26. The positioning part 61 is inserted into a positioning hole 64 provided on the control board 51 to position the control board 51. A sensor magnet 72 is secured to the armature shaft 26. The first hall IC 73a and the second hall IC 73b are so provided on the control board 51 as to face the sensor magnet 72 respectively while keeping the distances from the positioning part 61 identical.
