PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, a program and an image processing method capable of obtaining the output of a required format by a simple operation when original documents (image data of original documents) of a plurality of formats are mixedly included. SOLUTION: A system control section 16 controls an image analyzing section 21 to generate image analysis information about each of image data based on the feature amount obtained by extracting the feature of each of the image data of a group of original documents of a plurality of formats. Also, the system control section 16 controls the image processing section 13 to integrate the image data of the group of original documents of the plurality of formats into a selected single format and to generate the image data of the group of original documents of the plurality of formats integrated in the signal output format as a preview image, and displays the generated image data. Thus, the output of the wanted format can be obtained by a simple operation for only selecting a desired output format when the original documents (image data of original documents) of a plurality of the formats are mixedly included.
