摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a cam engagement structure having a sufficient impact resistance in a photographing range by an integral molded body obtained by a metallic mold, having a cam groove shape free from undercut. SOLUTION: The lens drive device is configured to move lens groups by engaging the cam groove 50 of a fixed cylinder 5 with the cam follower 20 of a rotating cylinder 6. The cam groove 50 is formed along a surface axially vertical to the rotating cylinder so that the rotating cylinder 6 may extend in the axial direction in a moving range from a storage state to a photographing state and the rotating cylinder 6 may rotate but not move in the axial direction in the photographing range, and the cross-section surface of the fixed cylinder 5 has a flat part 54 axially vertical to the tapered cam surface. The cam follower 20 includes a conical part 21 and a cylindrical part 22, the conical part 21 engages with the tapered cam surface 55 of the cam groove in a range where the rotating cylinder 6 moves in the optical axis direction, and the cylindrical part 22 engages with the flat part 54 of the cam groove in a range where the rotating cylinder 6 does not move in the optical axis direction.
