<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having: a bypass coolant pipe branching off one part of a coolant condensed in a heat source side heat exchanger and returning it to a suction side of a compression mechanism; and a supercooling heat exchanger cooling the coolant condensed in the heat source side heat exchanger by the coolant flowing through a bypass coolant pipe, wherein the management of a degree of supercooling of the coolant in an outlet of a supercooling heat exchanger is carried out, and the condensation capacity of the coolant in the heat source side heat exchanger is secured. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 has: the bypass coolant pipe 26 branching off one part of a coolant condensed in an outdoor heat exchanger 23 during cooling operation and returning it to a suction side of a compressor 21; and the supercooling heat exchanger 25 cooling the coolant condensed in the outdoor heat exchanger 23 by the coolant flowing through the bypass coolant pipe 26. Supercooling degree control of controlling a bypass expansion valve 36 provided in the bypass coolant pipe 26 such that a degree of supercooling of the coolant in an outlet of the outdoor heat exchanger 23 approaches a target degree of supercooling, is made. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
