<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet structure of a compact electronic apparatus, which can surely join a back cabinet and a front cabinet without generating interference with components and moreover can suppress an increase in dimensions. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the cabinet structure of the compact electronic apparatus, a back cabinet 2 and a front cabinet 3 are joined with each other to form an internal space, a pair of design panels 4, 4 are arranged so as to cover both the side parts of the surface of the front cabinet 3, and a chassis 6 for loading one or more components is arranged in the inner space. Arm portions 42 are respectively projected from the pair of design panels 4, 4 to the inner space, the tip part of each arm portion 42 is held between the back cabinet 2 and the chassis 6, the back cabinet 2 and the chassis 6 are clamped with each other through a screw 7, and the end portion of the design panel 4 is pressed into contact with a correspondence portion on the surface of the front cabinet 3.
