<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position and fix a developing unit relative to a photoreceptor unit without providing a new member nor making a user operate a pressing member in an image forming apparatus including a print unit that can be separated into the developing unit and the photoreceptor unit. <P>SOLUTION: When the print unit 5 is attached to an apparatus body 1, a projection 46a projecting from a slot aperture 35a of the print unit 5 is gradually pushed downward by a guide projected line 12a formed in the apparatus body 1. Thus, a fixing member 44a projects from a step part 36a, holds a projecting part 24a of the developing unit 2 with an inner wall of the step part 36a in between, and is located at a fixed position where it prevents movement of the projecting part 24a.
