<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for waterproofing of a water passage, by which a waterproof sheet can be laid easily and a waterproof layer excellent in prevention of water leakage can be formed, even when the water passage is a concrete water passage having a reinforcing projection therein. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for waterproofing of the water passage is applied to the water passage 1 having projections 2 projecting in the water passage 1 and arranged at predetermined intervals, and flat places 3 positioned between the projections 2 and appear alternately. Each of the projections 2 is covered with a formed body 4 which has the substantially same shape as that of the projections 2 and has a waterproof property. The waterproof sheet 5 is laid on each of the flat places 3 between the projections 2. The formed body 4 includes a cap part 4a covering each of the projections 2 and a flange part 4b extending to the peripheral edges. The flange part 4b and the waterproof sheet 5 of the flat places 3, can be joined together to form a continuous waterproof layer of the formed body 4 and the waterproof sheet 5.
