<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an enzyme liquid by which the enzyme liquid having a high property of degrading polysaccharides can easily be produced, and to provide a method for producing a saccharide using the enzyme liquid obtained by the method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the enzyme liquid includes: a cutting step S1 of cutting lignocellulosic biomass so as to provide a maximum diameter of ≤2 mm, and providing biomass particles; a pulverizing step S2 of mixing the biomass particles and water so as to afford a solid fraction of 0.1-20 mass%, providing a mixed liquid, continuously pulverizing the mixed liquid under conditions of 0-50°C temperature, and converting the mixed liquid into a slurry-like carbon source; and an enzyme producing step S3 of mixing the carbon source with a culture medium, and a polysaccharide-degrading enzyme producing strain, carrying out culturing, and thereby affording the enzyme liquid.
