The present invention relates to a side mirror for eliminating blind spots, more particularly, to a side mirror for eliminating blind spots which has a rail groove formed on the front face and a bidirectional electric motor mounted on one side, wherein the bidirectional electric motor comprises: a tilt angle regulating panel combined with a rotational gear; a mirror having a sliding rail inserted into the rail groove and a multiplicity of gear grooves formed on one side of the sliding rail to be engaged with the rotational gear; and an outer casing designed to enclose the outside of the tilt angle regulating panel. According to the present invention, the side mirror disposed on the front face of the tilt angle regulating panel not only tilts and swivels by an electric system in all directions, e.g., left and right or up and down when a vehicle turns left or right or when the left or right turn signal is turned on, but it also automatically moves laterally inward of the tilt angle regulating panel to bring blind spots where vision is hindered at the time of turning left or right into view, thereby ensuring a larger field of view and safe driving. |
