The fitting (1) has a gear drive (2) including a housing and a connecting rod (3), which has a wide side surface, where the gear drive has a drive element (7) e.g. cam drive (18), with a rotating axis (8). The connecting rod is movable along its longitudinal extent using a belt drive by rotation of the drive element. The belt drive includes a flexible traction unit (26) with a wrapping unit attached to the drive element. The rotating axis eccentrically lies in the wrapping unit or outside the wrapping unit. A section of a traction unit penetrates a cross borehole of the drive element.
