PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a vehicle speed limit control device for preventing any oscillatory shock from being generated due to the twist oscillation of a drive system when raising an actual vehicle speed to a limit vehicle speed by acceleration under vehicle speed limit control. SOLUTION: When a driver performs an accelerating operation to raise a driver request driving power DrvTd like a step by stepping on an accelerator pedal at t1 under vehicle speed limit control while an actual vehicle speed VSP is lower than a limit vehicle speed LmtVSP, a vehicle speed deviationΔVSP decreases as shown by a figure due to the rising of the actual vehicle speed VSP, and a target driving force LmtTd for vehicle speed limit decreases as shown in the figure according to this decrease. Primary delay processing is performed to the target driving force LmtTd for vehicle speed limit to calculate a target driving force fLmtTd for vehicle speed limit to which the primary delay processing has been performed, and change rate limit processing is performed to a driver request driving force DrvTd to calculate a driver request driving force kDrvTd to which the change rate limit processing has been performed, and the driving force which is lower between them is selected as a final driving force command tTd, and this driving force command tTd is used for engine output control.
