PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pyrene-based compounds, and to provide organic electroluminescent elements using the compounds. SOLUTION: There are provided pyrene-based compounds represented by chemical formula 1 and organic electroluminescent elements comprising the compound as a luminous layer material. As the organic electroluminescent elements are excellent in blue color purity and exhibit long life characteristics so the elements are availably used in displays and lightings. In formula 1, A<SB>1</SB>and A<SB>2</SB>are 6-24C aryl or 2-24C heteroaryl and include at least one deuterium and at least one halogen as the substituents. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
