PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag forming and filling apparatus that welds a suspending thread to a lateral seal of an extracting bag, so-called triangular bag, formed by filling a flat bag or a bag with tea leaves or the like in the shape of a triangular pyramid, and also to provide a package manufactured by the bag forming and filling apparatus. SOLUTION: A thread feeder draws thread 7 wound around a reel and feeds it a predetermined distance. In synchronization with this, air is fed to a hose 87. The leading end of the thread 7 is thereby fed out only a fixed length from a guide pipe 86. A holder 69 then runs forward toward a packaging material 23. An ultrasonic horn 71 and a receiving member 73 also run forward together with the holder 69. The lower portion of the packaging material 23 is thus sealed and cut laterally, so that a lateral seal 11 is formed at the leading end of the packaging material 23 and also the thread 7 is welded to the lateral seal 11. An upper lateral seal 13 is formed for the tea bag 3, and the tea bag 3 is separated from the packaging material 23. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
