According to the invention, at least two crown working layers (1) are formed by circumferentially winding a complex strip (1) made of two layers (2, 3) including continuous reinforcement members (4) extending from one layer to the other, said reinforcement members being parallel in one layer and intersecting each other from one layer to the other at angles, relative to the circumferential direction, which are identical in terms of absolute value.
