GLASS FLAKE COMPOSITE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A glass flake composite is provided to improve interfacial adhesion with an organic polymer resin by introducing a polymerizable unsaturated group to the surface of the glass flake. CONSTITUTION: A glass flake composite contains a polymerizable unsaturated group on the surface of glass flake. A method for preparing the glass flake composite comprises the steps of: (i) using an isocyanate-based compound having at least two isocyanate groups within molecule and inducing a polymerizable unsaturated group to at least one isocyanate group to obtain a polymerizable unsaturated group-containing isocyanate-based compound; and (ii) performing urethane reaction of the polymerizable unsaturated group-containing isocyanate-based compound and glass flake.
