PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic latent image development, in which environmental dependence of cleaning property and uneven gloss is suppressed, and also to provide a developer for electrostatic latent image development, a toner cartridge, a process cartridge, and an image forming apparatus using the toner. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic latent image development contains a binder resin, a release agent, and an aluminum element, wherein when the volume average particle diameter of the whole toner is denoted as D50T, the content of aluminum elements in the whole toner is denoted as Alt (atom%), and the content of aluminum elements in the toner after classified into particles having a volume average particle diameter of (2/3)×D50T is denoted by Als (atom%), the contents Alt and Als satisfy the relationship of an expression (1):120≤(Als/Alt)×100≤200.
